Mudam opened its doors to the “Marché des créateurs” once again, offering designers an unusual display and selling space.
This annual meeting is an opportunity to bring together mainly Luxembourgish designers using different techniques and working in diverse disciplines and universes (literature, illustrations, sequential art, design, fashion design, fabric design…). There are a multitude of revisited or totally new objects that reflect the effervescence of contemporary production. Often arising from a limited edition or one-off products, they bear witness to great creativity; an opportunity to encourage meetings between innovative creators and public.
The scenography by deFact Studio and LesAteliers.lu (Réseau Objectif Plein Emploi) was realized thanks to recycling and restoration of old furniture (tables, sideboards, showcases).
At the same time, the free workshop “Portrait géopoétique de la ville” by Géographie Subjective, for children and adults, was taking place in the museum’s Grand Hall. The public was invited to create a very personal portrait of the city.
